It is not enough to just take an order and fill it eventually. Firms need to strive for the 'perfect order' every time. More and more firms are trying to move to a Friction-Free Order and integrate processes, systems and data across different parts of the organization to produce a consistent look and feel for the customer. Applying common interface principles across all customer entry points and eliminating variability is part of implementing the “perfect order.” Application of Six Sigma methodologies such DMAIC and DMADV are briefly discussed. This course is designed to provide attendees with an understanding of the elements of a perfect order and how the firm can make it happen. Attributes of each stage of a perfect order will be examined and discussed.
